Route on the Waterfront Trail and quiet paved roads close to the shore of
Lake Ontario, Rice Lake through several towns on the Trent Canal and
crossing the Bay of Quinte
Including Picton, Brighton, Cobourg, Gores Landing, Campbellford and Belleville

Starting at Picton, you bike through Cobourg north to Rice Lake and the Trent Canal.
Enjoy an easy ride on the Waterfront Trail along Lake Ontario through the old
fashioned main streets of delightful heritage towns. Visit Brighton
with the Presqu'ile Provincial Park beaches and natural areas.
Cobourg, with its' beach and boardwalk on Lake Ontario offers theater at the
1860 Victoria Hall.
Bike through picture perfect rolling farmland with wooded hills to
naturally beautiful Rice Lake, the Alderville First Nation community
and charming countryside towns. You follow the Trent Canal from
Campbellford, crossing it on the way southeast to Belleville. Return to
Picton by crossing the Bay of Quinte on the Deseronto bridge.
