Bicycle with horses and buggies and across Ontario's last remaining covered bridge at West Montrose. You are certain to see Mennonites at work in the fields, traveling to town or to the meeting houses on Sunday in Elmira, near Floradale and near Linwood. This is one of the few areas in Ontario where the Amish and old order Mennonites are living much as they did when they first settled in the early 1800's.

A 130 kilometer loop route takes you from St. Jacobs across the covered bridge to Fergus, returning through Elmira and Wellesley. Follow the scenic Grand River and see the scenic Elora Gorge from the 1870 Elora Mill - now an inn and restaurant - or explore the gorge by taking a short walk from town.
