Historic Bayfield Village, although a lively port for small boats, looks pretty much as it did in the 1840's with its quaint main street including two historic hotels. You may want to check out the nearby Folmar Windmill, flea markets or shop for fresh and smoked fish. A back road route takes you 20 kilometers to Goderich with a unique downtown centered on the octagonal town square, lighthouse and beaches on Lake Huron. The town square is the location of the Saturday Farmers Market. The restored mills of Benmiller provide a scenic and peaceful luxury resort. There are a number of loop routes in this area.
Enjoy peaceful roads with cottages along Lake Huron, a back road connection to Pinery Provincial Park and the Rotary Trail (adjacent to Highway 21) to Grand Bend, the Kettle Point First Nation community and fruit growing areas; away from heavy motor vehicle traffic on Highway 21.

Ipperwash Beach is a broad sand beach with a shallow shoreline and spectacular sunsets. Best of all, you can enjoy it all day and park your motor vehicle at no charge. Take the 80 kilometer loop route to Arkona and the adjacent Rock Glen Conservation Area, the scenic centre of a tender fruit growing area, with cherries, peaches and apples.

The Sarnia area has bike paths from Errol on Lake Huron continuing 20 kilometers under the Blue Water Bridge as well as kilometers 40 kilometers on the St. Clair Parkway all the way to Wallaceburg. Small ferries connect to the Bridge to Bay Trail in Michigan at Sombra [Marine City] and Walpole Island [Algonac].
